Director of Education & Leadership Initiatives
OKCYP is seeking a highly organized and passionate individual to serve as the Director of Education & Leadership Initiatives. This role oversees OKCYP's leadership and professional development programming, including the YP Leadership Program, ensuring a high-quality experience for participants while strengthening OKCYP's impact on emerging leaders across the city.
Responsibilities
- Program Coordination — manage all YP Leadership Program sessions, timelines, and execution
- Speaker & Content Management — identify, secure, and align speakers with program goals
- Participant Experience — manage communication, track attendance, serve as primary point of contact
- Logistics & Operations — coordinate venues, lunches, materials, and day-of execution
- Program Administration — support application review, records, reporting, and evaluation
- Graduation & Recognition — plan and execute graduation ceremony and participant recognition
- Internal Communication — provide regular updates and collaborate with OKCYP leadership
Ideal candidate
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Experience in education, nonprofit programming, leadership development, or event coordination
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and timelines effectively
- Detail-oriented with strong follow-through

Workforce & Employer Partnerships Manager
The Workforce & Employer Partnerships Manager will lead the development, growth, and execution of the OKCYP Workforce Development Fund and related workforce initiatives. This is a revenue-generating, relationship-driven role responsible for generating employer partnerships, driving revenue through sponsorships and contributions, and executing programs that connect young professionals with career opportunities in Oklahoma City.
Responsibilities
- Employer Partnerships — identify, prospect, and secure employer partners and sponsors
- Sell Workforce Development Fund participation tiers ($1K–$10K+) and meet monthly/quarterly revenue targets
- Workforce Development Fund — execute fundraising strategy, manage partner deliverables, and track contributions in CRM
- Event Execution — lead planning of the OKCYP Career & Talent Expo and employer networking/hiring events
- Talent Pipeline — support development of a young professional talent database, resume workshops, interview prep, and career panels
- Data & Reporting — track KPIs (revenue, employer participation, event attendance) and report to COO
- Optimize outreach and partnership strategies
Ideal candidate
- 2–5+ years in sales, partnerships, business development, or account management
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Experience in events, sponsorship sales, or workforce initiatives preferred
- Self-starter with ability to manage pipeline and close deals
- Familiarity with CRM systems (or willingness to learn quickly)
- Entrepreneurial mindset comfortable with sales targets and accountability
- Strong local network in Oklahoma City (preferred)
Compensation
- Base: $750–$1,500/month (based on experience and structure)
- Commission: 10%–15% on all employer partnerships and fund contributions
- Performance bonuses tied to revenue milestones ($25K, $50K, $75K) and event success
- Estimated Year 1 earnings: $20,000–$50,000+ (part-time), scalable with performance
Success metrics (first 6–12 months)
- $30K–$75K raised for Workforce Development Fund
- 15–30 employer partners secured
- Successful execution of 1–2 major workforce events
- Growth in employer engagement and OKCYP membership
