Membership & Engagement Coordinator

Oklahoma City Young Professionals (OKCYP) is a nonprofit organization focused on connecting, developing, and empowering young professionals through networking, leadership development, professional programming, and community engagement. We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and relationship-driven Membership & Engagement Coordinator to support member onboarding, membership management, leadership program coordination, CRM administration, and member experience initiatives. This role is ideal for someone looking to gain experience in nonprofit operations, membership management, customer success, CRM administration, leadership development, event operations, and community engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Process new member applications
  • Coordinate onboarding for individual members
  • Prepare onboarding materials for business and corporate memberships
  • Support new member welcome processes and engagement initiatives
  • Assist in maintaining a positive and professional member experience
  • Assist the Director of Investor Relations with membership management
  • Help maintain organizational membership retention and engagement goals
  • Support efforts to maintain a member CSAT score of 95% or higher
  • Conduct member CSAT surveys and assist with follow-up communication
  • Help track member engagement and participation
  • Assist with coordination and administrative support for the OKCYP Leadership Program
  • Support participant communication and organizational logistics
  • Assist with attendance tracking and program materials
  • Update CRM records and maintain accurate membership data
  • Ensure member information, company information, and engagement records remain current
  • Assist with membership reporting and organizational tracking
  • Prepare weekly membership and engagement reports for the COO
  • Prepare event registration materials
  • Coordinate and print event name badges
  • Assist with attendee check-in preparation and registration logistics
  • Support event setup preparation where needed
  • Maintain and update the Member Hub
  • Assist with membership resources and communication updates
  • Support internal membership communication initiatives

Ideal candidate

  • Strong organizational skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Professional communication skills
  • Customer service or customer success experience preferred
  • Comfortable working independently
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
  • Familiarity with CRM systems, Google Workspace, Canva, or membership platforms preferred but not required
  • Positive and professional attitude

  • Enjoys supporting community-focused initiatives
  • Values accuracy and follow-through
  • Enjoys creating positive member experiences
  • Wants experience in nonprofit operations and membership management

Compensation

  • $8–$10 per hour depending on experience
  • Part-time, approximately 15–20 hours per week
  • Flexible scheduling
  • Primarily remote with occasional event support
  • Occasional evening event attendance may be requested based on organizational programming and networking events

Social Media, Video & Marketing Contractor

OKCYP is seeking a creative and dependable Social Media, Video & Marketing Contractor to elevate our digital presence, event promotion, and brand engagement. This role supports marketing and communications through social media management, short-form video, event marketing, and digital content development, working closely with leadership to promote programs, events, leadership initiatives, sponsorships, and community impact.

Responsibilities

  • Create and schedule social media content across platforms
  • Design promotional graphics and marketing assets
  • Produce short-form videos and reels
  • Assist with event promotion and campaigns
  • Capture content at select OKCYP events and programs
  • Support email marketing initiatives
  • Maintain brand consistency across platforms
  • Coordinate content calendars and campaign timelines
  • Assist with sponsorship and event marketing visibility
  • Collaborate with leadership on creative direction and messaging

Ideal candidate

  • Experience managing social media accounts for organizations or brands
  • Proficiency with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, or similar tools
  • Basic video editing experience
  • Strong written communication skills
  • Photography and event content experience preferred
  • Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects
  • Understanding of Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and short-form video trends
  • Creative, self-motivated, organized, and dependable

Compensation

  • $500 per month
  • Independent contractor position with flexible schedule
  • Primarily remote with occasional event attendance preferred
  • Approximately 5–10 hours per week depending on organizational needs
  • Contractor responsible for own equipment and software
