Contract

Director of Education

The Director of Education will oversee OKCYP's leadership and professional development programming, including the YP Leadership Program. This role is responsible for coordinating program sessions, securing speakers, managing participant communication, organizing lunches, supporting curriculum flow, and helping execute the graduation ceremony.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate YP Leadership Program sessions
  • Secure speakers and panelists
  • Manage participant communication and attendance
  • Coordinate lunches, venues, materials, and logistics
  • Support application review and program administration
  • Assist with graduation ceremony planning
  • Provide updates to OKCYP leadership

Ideal candidate

  • Strong organizational skills
  • Experience in education, programming, nonprofit work, leadership development, or event coordination
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Comfortable managing timelines and multiple stakeholders
  • Passion for young professional development

Contract

Events Coordinator – Horizons

The Events Coordinator – Horizons will support the planning and execution of OKCYP's signature 2026 Horizons event. This role will assist with event logistics, honoree communication, sponsorship fulfillment, vendor coordination, registration, day-of-event support, and overall event execution.

Responsibilities

  • Support planning for the 2026 Horizons event
  • Coordinate vendors, logistics, timelines, and materials
  • Assist with honoree and sponsor communication
  • Track event tasks and deadlines
  • Support registration, seating, signage, and event flow
  • Help manage day-of-event coordination
  • Provide updates to OKCYP leadership

Ideal candidate

  • Event planning or coordination experience preferred
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Professional communication skills
  • Ability to manage deadlines
  • Comfortable working with sponsors, vendors, and honorees
  • Passion for community events and young professional engagement
